Printed over fine branches in the background to give the design greater depth, Fruit is one of the first William Morris designs, produced in 1864, demonstrating early on its creator`s skill as a pattern maker. Today, Fruit has been adapted into a tapestry weave fabric for upholstery and soft furnishings.
